"So, you're breaking up with me, for her?" Alex finally said.
Neal stared into her eyes, "I'm so sorry."
"But, I love you.", she pleaded. Neal got a look of pain in his eyes, as if it hurt him to do this.
" I love you too, but I'm in love with Kate.", he wispered.
"Neal..." Alex begged.
" I'm so sorry." He repeated, as he turned and walked away, but not before Alex could see his single tear that came from breaking her heart.
I will win him back she thought.
... He's happy with Kate, she thought as the flashback ended and she stared at the paper flower in the wallet. I'll let him be with her she thought, as much as she hated to let go of him. Then she looked up and saw him in his fedora. I wish she would get out of his life, she thought.
