Prentiss

She walked for hours through the snow; her hair and cat were completely soaked by the time she stopped outside an Old Catholic church. She stared up at this magnificent building, and thought of all the pain that had been caused because of her. She thought of Mathew who had died for her and for the first time since that day in the doctor's surgery when she was fifteen, she broke down.

She wept on the steps of the church for what seemed like hours, questioning everything she believed. She had loved Mathew, and had wanted to save him. It was to late now, and everything from her past was resurfacing.

Her abortion was just the start of the story and with her old friend hanging around it would be only a matter of time before her team, her new family, found out about her dark and mysterious past. She new it was worse than Morgan's secrets, worse than Reid's, Rossi's and Hotch's. She new the team had handled all of the pasts and were closer because of it, but if they found out every detail about her, she didn't think she would be able to look them in the eye.

When tears stopped soaking her cheeks, Prentiss got to her feet and started to walk back towards her apartment. She lived in the riches part of town, she had the nicest view of the hill, but money could never by happiness. She only hoped that now money could keep secrets of the past hidden.

She entered her apartment building in sort of a daze. If Emily hadn't been so preoccupied she would have noticed the person watching her from over the road, the person taking photos of her entering her home.

Upstairs in her apartment she turned on the TV to watch a romantic movie, and started to cook herself some pasta for dinner. The bottle of wine next to the TV had her name on it and so she drank away the day's pains and memories and fell into an alcohol induced sleep.
