"I'm sorry Inuyasha; I could do naught to save her." Kaede had tried her hardest to save the reincarnation of her elder sister but she was too badly hurt. Tears brimming in his eyes, the half demon ran desperately from the small hut and made for the forest.
He jumped branches and slices old trees down on his way to their secret tree. The tree where Kagome first met the bound half-demon. "Why did you leave me Kagome! Stupid wench!"
The girl with the raven hair had died, taking his heart with her.
Can you see my pain?
Can you hear the rain?
Why do I still have this feeling?
What about you sent my senses reeling?
When will my heart stop bleeding?
The emotions in my eyes, they were always misleading.
What was the purpose of living when your reason is lost? Kikyo left when Inuyasha finally declared his love to Kagome.
Everyone seemed happier after. For a time at least. There were no signs of Naraku for weeks and Sango had begun to be hopeful.
"Perhaps the blow Inuyasha dealt killed him after all!"
Optimistic hopes made them blind and they were oblivious to the small girl with white hair that hid behind a nearby tree.
