Love, Me.

1987

A group of kids are standing in five lines. Shawn and Gus are standing next to each other. Gus has the whole Thanksgiving regalia on him: turkey hat, and has dressed up as a pilgrim. He is enthusiastically singing, while Shawn is standing bored.

"Please Gus tell me you're not enjoying this. We're in 7th grade, not in kindergarten."

"For your information Shawn, Thanksgiving is a great holiday. It commemorates the relationship of Pilgrims and the Native Americans. It is a day of recognition of what you have-"

"Gus stop, you're boring me. Then the Pilgrims basically killed them."

"How can you say that-"

"Burton Guster and Shawn Spencer will you care to share with us what you two seem to be arguing about." All the kids turned to Gus and Shawn. Gus looks uncomfortable.

Automatically both responded, "No, Mr. Greene."

"Then I suggest you sing. Or would you rather discuss this in my office?"

"No, Mr. Green."

Picking from where the song left up Shawn starts mouthing the words, while Gus looks about to cry. "I don't think I like this holiday anymore."

"Don't worry Gus, Mr. Greene forgot his chill pill we'll slip one in his Kool-Aid later."
