A mothers love
Again it was one of those weekends on which one of them had to work all of the sudden. This time it was Addison. So Derek took the kids alone to see his mother on her birthday while Addison stayed at home because she had to cover for one of their collegues who has called in sick.
For Addison it`s always a very long weekend when her husband and her babies, that`s how she likes to refer to her children, are gone and she`s left behind. She worked all Friday and half Saturday. So she spend the rest of the weekend cleaning the house. Every single spot to distract herself from the fact, that once again, she had let her family down.
But Sunday evenings, when they come back home running in her arms hugging and kissing her she`s in heaven. When they won`t shut up for a moment and talk all at the same time about what they did and what they liked best and what presents their grandmother gave them.
When she tugs them in afterwards and reads them a good night story, when they call her back just to give her one more kiss or when she crawls on the couch next to her husband and cuddles with him. Those are the moments in life she loves most.
The time when she`s with her loved ones.
