Hey! This is my first story. I am writing a collection of one shots based on B&B in different situations. There will be one story a day until Christmas. Basically my way of counting down to the holidays. After I finish them, I may turn them into multi chapter stories based on demand. I have already planned all of the situations for the stories; however, if anyone suggests anything, I may write a story on that topic, after I have finished all of these. I hope you enjoy this one!

TOPIC: MUSIC

Grace was waiting in the car in front of the building that was occupied by both the middle and high schools of the town she lived in. She was watching for her brother, Parker, and her sister, Lily, to come out of school. She reached over to the radio at the front of the car to change the music. As loud noises began to fill up the car, her father turned to look at her.

"What is that supposed to be, Gracie?" he asked her

"It's music daddy," she replied innocently, as only 7 year olds could do.

"No, Gracie," he shook his head, "That is not music."

Just then, Parker and Lily got in the car. As Parker was buckling his seatbelt, he spoke:

"What the heck is that noise, Dad?"

"Well, according to Gracie, it's supposed to be music."

The 18 year old looked back at his little sister. "That is not music."

"Yes it is," she replied, her grey eyes shining indignantly, "it's what everyone in school listens to."

Lily shook her head, her dark hair flipping around as she did so. "Sorry kiddo," she laughed, glancing at Grace, "I would really like to agree with you on this one, but this noise is not music. It can barely be considered noise."

"You guys are just old, so you don't like the same music," Grace shot back, rationally. Then thinking, "And how can it not be noise? Everything is noise,"

"I'm thirteen, Grace. That's not exactly old. And I don't know how. It just is,"

"So? You're still older than me. And that's not a good enough reason."

"Gracie," Booth looked back at her, and smiled, "not even your mother would think this could be considered music. And we all know Bones' style of music. And I have got to talk to her about the whole rational scientist thing you two are doing. That is not normal," he turned back around. "Neither is this 'music'," he muttered under his breath.

The children all began to laugh, as Booth pulled away from the school. Of course, Parker did have to change the radio station, as well.
