Greetings readers! i have come out of seclusion with another story, hope ya like it :)
Product of a Messy Concoction
"You know Evans, we'd make a damn good couple"
"How many times Potter? I am not going to go out with you, you prime example of retardation!"
"Your words wound me Lils"
"Oh boo hoo! Anyway I want to hear why we'd make a good couple"
"Aha! Because you know it's true!"
"No… because I'm curious"
"Well, you know when you're baking a cake?"
"Oh god…. Yes?"
"Well, you're experimental, and you try putting everything in at once, and it becomes a messy concoction. Well doesn't the messy concoction always produce a good result?"
"No, Potter, it doesn't. But what does this have to do with us?"
"Well my darling Lilyflower, we are the messy concoction, eggs and icing, butter and cream cheese, when we're separate, we look random and unattractive. But when put together, we make a beautiful product, which is why we'd make a damn good couple. "
"Aw, James, that's actually strangely insightful and sensitive. Or are you just trying to get me into your bed, again, Potter?"
"No! I'm not, we belong with each other. We're the jigsaw pieces that just fit."
"That's hauntingly beautiful, James. When did you get to be so poetic like that?"
"About the same time you started accepting me."
"I – I – I love you James"
"I love you too, Lilyflower"
"…"
"…"
"Wow! We really are a messy concoction"
"A messy concoction which makes, a beautiful product".
It was the teenagers' destiny to create that beautiful product which would one day grow up to be the saviour of the wizarding world.
So there you have it, just a little oneshot which i wrote while i was writing another story, it's a bit random, but the idea came to me halfway through another James/Lily story (which i need to finish). There aren't meant to be any sexual connotations, so sorry if you interpretate it that way.
