I don't own Labyrinth.
The Princess and The Raven
Princess Kalida raced along the hedge maze. She knew that if her father caught her in the Labyrinth again she would be in trouble. Of course then she would look up at him and pout. Then like always she would get away with it and go on her merry little way.
Being a princess was boring. She had to learn about so many things that she just didn't understand she needed to know. Her favorite thing to do was getting out of the Castle and running in the Labyrinth.
Kalida walked around a corner and froze. Standing not too far way was a goblin. Quickly she hid behind the corner. If the goblin saw her, he would tell her father and she wasn't ready for him to find her just yet. She watched as the Goblin walked away and down a passageway. Quickly she ran the opposite way back towards the Castle.
As she rounded yet another corner, Kalida realized she was lost. She looked around her. Dust was coming and she didn't want to be in the Labyrinth at dark. She ran one-way and then another.
Kalida was getting scared. She sat down and began to cry. She wanted to get home. Suddenly she heard the caw of a raven. Kalida looked up and dancing on the top of a hedge was a black raven. It's blue-black feathers shined in the setting sun.
Wiping her eyes, the little Princess stood up and moved towards the raven.
"Are you here to help me?"
The raven nodded its head.
Kalida smiled. "Thank you. Please lead the way back to the Castle."
The raven took flight and she followed him. Up and down. Left and right. Until she finally reached the exit that lead back to the Castle. Kalida looked at the bird.
"Thank you."
She raced off towards home.
The raven watched the little princess. She was beautiful already and he could see the beauty she would become one day. Inside the raven, the King of Nightmares, Malek smiled. His heart and hers were already becoming one as were their souls.
So please review and visit myspace page. Thanks to all of my readers. Kalida and Malek are the pair in the sequel.
