A/N It kind of occured to me how big some women can get when pregnant...now consider that with carrying two kids, and this complicated thing of soul-feeding the child and the wife. Not only does that drain Mr. Elrond, but Celebrían...you got a tired elf on your hands.

Typed this on my phone and I might be rusty, so pardon for mistakes.

This day...in simple words, was bad.

Life was fine though, or so she was told by those who could have one. There was no famine, no collateral damage caused by Glorfindel or Erestor.

There was no reason that the day should be bad, save for the fact that she could not move anymore.

Celebrían was expecting any day now. She felt no discomfort or pain that would come before labor started, but here she was off her feet maybe sooner than she ought of. But that was the problem when one, especially an elf, was going to be having twins.

It drained one of their reserves very easily.

Celebrían could move if she really wanted to, but getting up cost too much effort than it was worth. The issue of her expanded midsection, because of twins, was to blame. It was ridiculous, and the lady wanted this done and over with now.

Yes, she was excited at the prospect of being a mother, but being unable to do what she normally did on a daily basis started to drive her insane. Combine that with the bodily changes when a female is pregnant, Celebrían had every right to be a little moody.

The lady rolled onto her side and sighed, half glaring at the wall. Today seemed so beautiful, and what she would give to walk outside and see to her flowers in the garden. Too far a walk unfortunately; not to mention that every one who saw her try to work at this stage would panic and take her back inside to sit-and about every chair in the house she could not get out of by herself.

Celebrían heard the door open, and felt the presence of her husband as she ate up the energy he had to give.

"Good morning, my dear," Elrond greeted fondly as he came to her side.

Celebrían only hummed in answer as they shared a brief kiss.

Elrond expected words, but let it pass. "How are you?"

"Absolutely wonderful," Celebrían answered in a happy voice with a hint of sarcasm. "I especially enjoy seeing nature from the inside."

Elrond frowned a little. "I know you are getting impatient, but I do not want you hurting yourself."

"I can handle a short walk to the balcony." Celebrían huffed.

"Cele-"

The lady's hand shot up and grabbed Elrond by the front of his clothes. She gave him a very, very sweet smile. "My dear husband, my heart and other half...If you do not help me walk a short distance, to heal my disintegrating mind, I promise you you will deal with everything concerning taking care of our sons, excluding feeding obviously-for an entire month, alone."

A flash of fear briefly entered Elrond's eyes at the threat, and given whose daughter Celebrían is, she meant what she said. With a nod the lord of Imladris proceeded to help his wife sit up.

Shortly after Celebrían was standing, breathing a moment before giving Elrond a non-threatening grin. "Thank you."

"Anything for you, my flower."

Inside the womb, the unborn children were giving each other thumbs up.
