Stand Up
Phoenix was heartbroken. His Dollie, talking that way about him. He didn't know what to say.
"Honestly how could any woman count on you for anything?"
Every word she said tore off another piece of his fragile heart. He thought he would cry but all he could do was stare. The last 8 months, some of the best times in his life, all a lie. The girl who made him lunch, knitted him a sweater, and went on dates with him pretty much every week was a fake? He didn't think he could take this trial any longer. He didn't want to hear any more. After what seemed like hours Phoenix finally left the courthouse, he took one last look at Dahlia, for some reason after this trial, she looked more like a demon then a flower like she always has. Phoenix made his way to his dorm and got on his bed and started to cry. After half an hour of crying Phoenix heard a knock on his door. He tried to wipe off his tears to hide what he had been doing and opened the door. And there right in front of him, stood Dahlia, but with black hair.
"D-D-D-D-Dollie?"
"Oh no, h-have you been crying? Oh I'm so sorry!"
Wait he's heard this tone before, this sounded like the Dollie he had known from the past 8 months, but how?
"W-Wait, are you related to, D-Dahlia?"
"O-Oh right Yes, I um, am Iris, Dahlia's sister."
"W-Wait Iris, why did y-you come here?" Phoenix noticed Iris blushed when he called her Iris
"Oh, um I just wanted to clear some things up about the past 8 months, here let's sit down." She then proceeded to grab 2 chairs and put them next to each other, almost like she knew the layout of Phoenix's dorm…
"W-Wait, what do you know about the past 8 months? And why are you seeming so familiar?"
"Oh Feenie, it's me Dollie!"
"Wait WHAT?" B-B-BUT DOLLIE'S IN JAIL AND SHE TRIED TO KILL ME!"
"Ah! Oh um l-let me be more specific… So um basically I was pretending to be my sister while dating you."
"P-Pretending to be Dahlia. B-But why?"
"Alright let me start from the beginning, see when you took Dahlia's necklace, she couldn't have to ability to move about freely and just wanted to resort to killing you immediately. I didn't want anymore sins on her soul so I stepped up and told her I would pretend to be her and get her necklace back. I asked so many times but each you rejected. I knew that necklace meant a lot to you so I tried to be nice about it but I couldn't get it back, this entire time, it was me all along, I hope you can forgive me for deceiving you…"
"Oh, Iris, I just knew something was different when I saw Dahlia at that trial, and I know it didn't look like it, but even after that trial, I still couldn't accept that that was my Dollie. I still had some hope left, and it looks like I was right. You are my Dollie, and Dahlia was the real fake."
"Oh Feenie, that's so sweet of you to say!"
"But there is one thing I don't understand about this. Why didn't you just tell me straight up about what was happening, I'm sure I would have gave it back after hearing that."
"Oh well there is one thing I haven't told you yet…"
"W-What is it, Iris?"
"Y-You see, well after dating you for a while, I kinda, sorta started to, have real feelings for you… and I knew that if I got the necklace back Dahlia would never let me see you again… I'm sorry if I caused so much trouble…"
"N-No Iris it's ok. Dahlia got what she deserved and now we're back together again!"
"W-Wait! By t-that you mean, l-like together, together again?"
"Wait, what's wrong with continuing where we left off Iris?"
"Well it's just that, I thought that after this you would hate me and not want to be with me… but I guess I should have trusted my boyfriend a bit more."
Then Iris pulled her Feenie in for a big hug. And then it was then that they both realized that their love was now finally real.
