It's all over now.
Every mask I put on is crumbling away.
Every fake smile is turning real.
It took me so long to perfect that damn act.
But this… This boy smashed it with one cute glance.
He stripped me of everything and left me feeling so vulnerable.
God damnit.
Everything I've worked so hard for.
It just got blown away.
My ice cold heart, melted in his heat.
How does he manage this?
So much power over me and does he even realize it?
Does he know the way I feel about him?
Does he love me too?
No! Who says this is love!
And so what if it is?
I could get him without even trying.
"Hey Nick?"
I turned towards the voice of my weakness.
"What is it overalls?"
The young boy walked over to me and my heart started beating faster. Ellis looked into my eyes and I knew that he knew how I felt.
He wrapped his arms around me and I reacted immediately by holding his waist.
"I really like yah, Nick," Ellis whispered in my ear
It took me a moment to remember to breathe as Ellis kissed me.
