I was woke up in the middle of the night, to the second guitarist of Dethklok, Toki Wartooth. Another bad dream plagued him. I propped myself up and rubbed my eyes. Toki knew I would never in a million years turn him away. Toki slid under my covers and clung to me. He was hot. I could see the beads of sweat on his forehead. I kissed his sweaty forehead gently which caused Toki to clutch at my night-shirt even more.
"Shh.." I cradled Toki in my arms as he cried and recalled the horrible nightmares. We had been through this so many times and I didn't care. I would take care of each member of Dethklok. I heard Toki's light snores and looked down at him. He looked so sweet when he was asleep. I wiped off his cheeks softly.
I decided to go check on everyone else. I was sort of over-protective of the band. Just like Charles was. I peeled Toki off of me along with my covers. I pulled the covers back over Toki. I walked out of the room quietly as I could. I knocked on Pickles' door and walked in. He was still awake and listening to some God-awful 80's music. I smiled at him and he grinned back. He held up the Vodka bottle, offering me some.
"Nah, I'm just passing through." I whispered. He shrugged it off and drank from the bottle. I exited the room. It was Nathan's room next. I saw two naked super-models on the floor. They were both stunningly beautiful, and also my cue to leave. The automatic doors slid open for me and I left the neo-gothic room. The doors made a whooshing noise as I stepped in front of Murderface's room. I didn't really have the nerve to go in there, but I could see him tossing and turning. Did nightmares plague them like they did Toki? I walked a little further down the hall.
One last room and it belonged to Skwisgaar. I walked into the white-covered room. It reminded me of snow. I saw Skwisgaar lying alone. He played the scales on his guitar softly.
I leaned against the wall and listened to him play. I was enchanted by the scales. I was snapped out of my trance when he stopped playing and called my name. I could tell already what he needed. I sat next to him and listened to him continue playing. I turned on my side, facing Skwisgaar. The notes from the guitar lulled me into a peaceful sleep.
Dethklok-Dethklok-Dethklok-Dethklok
I was late, so late. Charles was going to kill me. My late night with Skwisgaar had put me way off schedule. I usually woke up at 8, on a good day. If I hadn't been drinking with Dethklok the night before. I knew I had paperwork waiting for me.
I rushed down the hall. I stopped right before Charles' office and exhaled. He was luckily making one of those mind-numbing phone calls. I sat down and started on the paperwork. I could hear Charles making short comments to the person he was talking to. They were talking more then Charles. And he seemed to pay attention to every word. I winced when the phone was hung up.
"You're, uh late." Charles said, looking up from his notepad. I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry, Charles. Toki had a nightmare and then I went to check on everyone. And, Skwisgaar wanted me to sit with him and I kind of fell asleep." I kind of rushed my re-telling. Charles didn't say anything but looked back down to his list.
The day had passed with me doing paperwork. I longed for some kind of human interaction with someone other then Charles. My day doing paperwork was thankfully over. I gave a small wave to Charles.
What would I do to fill my time tonight? Drink with Pickles? Practice guitar with Skwisgaar? When you lived in Mordhaus the things you could do were limit-less. And I was lucky enough to live with Dethklok; the greatest band in the world.
A/n: Oh my god. That was fun to write at first then it was just pure torture to figure out how to end it. Really quick story I wrote on Wordpad. Reviews are welcome. One more thing, I do not own Dethklok or Metalocalypse. If I did I wouldn't be sitting here writing about it.
