Chapter 1
Parker sits in the drivers seat of Hardison's black van. The wind was blowing in her blonde hair as she tried to block out the many police sirens behind them. They were supposed to be heading home after they finished the heist but the FBI and Washington State police had to come and ruin it before they could even start. So now the Leverage team was in a high speed chase with more cops than she could count. Good thing I was a getaway driver.
"Do not wreck Lucile," Hardison exclaimed from the back.
" Damn it Hardison!," Eliot growled, glaring at him with the eyes that would make the biggest and toughest hitters back down.
" What did I do?," Hardison crowed.
" What did you do? What did you do! well for one you got the cops chasing us and were probably most wanted in Washington right now. Thats what you did!," He yelled furiously.
" And how is that my fault exactly"
" Shut up and get over it!," Parker screamed. The car became quiet with only the sound of sirens and Eliot growling under his breath.
Then a black SUV pulled in front of her and blocked her exit forcing her to slam on the brakes. Great.
" FBI get out of the car now!," A blonde haired woman with a gun and an FBI vest screamed. Parker rolled her eyes and opened the door. I was having fun she thought pouting. But get getting arrested didn't worry Parker, so she decided to meet their fate.
" Lets go," She commanded them. We can easily break out of prison she thought confidently. She got out first with Hardison close behind and Eliot staying close enough to protect them both. It was sunny without a cloud in the sky but it was cold. Looking around there must have been over thirty cops surrounding them. Do they really need to bring this many cops? Parker was a little worried now even though she would never admit it, so to make herself feel better she reached for Hardison's hand.
" Put your hands up," another FBI agent yelled, this time it was an old guy with black hair that was tainted gray. Parker ignored the cops and turned to Hardison.
" Kiss for luck?," he asked.
" For luck," she whispered, Parker wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist. He swooped down and pressed his lips against hers and before she knew it she slipped into this separate world where only Hardison and her existed. A peaceful bliss. Suddenly the old FBI agent yelled again snapping them both back into reality.
" Put your hands up!". Parker broke the kiss and put her hands up still holding Hardison's left one. But Eliot kept his arms crossed.
" Got any charges against us," Eliot yelled at the FBI agents as if he was challenging them. For all I know he probably is. The agents ignored him and started moving closer circling them with caution. They must think we're gonna blow this place up or something. Parker felt her hands be pulled towards her back, and looking behind her she saw yet another FBI agent. He was black (not as dark as Hardison though) and he wore sunglasses like the cops in the movies.
" Parker, You are under arrest," the man growled, " for the murders of: Daryl Harris, Bill Taylor, Dezeray Coleman, Quincy Adams, Zachary Fox, Sarah Parks, James Kelly, and Rock Manford." Parker gasped in shock. First of all, they didn't hurt anyone. Except maybe the mark. And second of all, to make matters worse, she knew three of the people he listed. Looking at the rest of the team she could see that they were equally shocked.
" I might not be as sane as you but I didn't murder anybody," she told him but he payed no attention.
As they walked towards the cop she started to pick the locks of the cuffs. She was out in ten seconds. Parker instantly realised herself from his grasp lifting a few things off as she did so. She quickly put up the gun she lifted to him. Thats when all of the cops and FBI agents in sight put up thiers. Looking down she read the badge she now possessed. It read, "Special agent, Derek Morgan, BAU.
" Woah," Derek said putting his hands up.
" Drop your weapon now!," a local cop screamed.
" PARKER!," Hardison screeched in terror fighting to get to her, she looked back at him for a moment to see how terrified he was. Parker wanted to say it was going to be okay somehow. And before she knew it she saw the blonde agent moving slowly towards her without any weapon or vest.
" Parker," she began, " My name is Jennifer Jareau, I'm with the FBI." She turned to Jennifer holding the gun in her hands.
" Can we talk," Jennifer asked moving closer. She started to panic all of the cops and guns sent flashbacks to when she was 14.

" You know Bonnie you should be back taking care of William and the others," Kelly said from the drivers side of the car. It was pitch black out side and the only source of light was their flashlights.
" First of all, its just Parker and second, just because because I'm the only girl in this place doesn't mean I should always be the one taking care of you guys," she told him sternly. Kelly laughed a little, his dirty blonde hair covered his eyes as slid the slim jim in the cars door.
" Hurry up ya old bat," Parker whispered. If they didn't hurry their butts would probably be caught. Suddenly Kelly froze and without warning he took off running at full speed.
" Hey! where are you going!," she yelled after him. Great. After a few moments she decided to grab the slim jim and boost the car herself. Jerk she thought angrily. While in the middle of sliding the slim jim into the car something grabbed the back of her shirt. Parker let out a screech as she hit the concrete.
" Help!," she cried.
" I got one," the man yelled to someone. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to fight him off.
" Kelly!," Parker screamed hoping he would hear her. What is he going to do to me?! Looking up at the man who had her pinned down and helpless. It was a cop. Part of her was relieved but most of her was terrified.
" Help me please," she whispered.
Parker had spent six months in juvenile hall after that. All alone once more. Kelly, had just left her for dead and after three years of working together, she realized that he never cared she was just a tool that he used for his own selfish needs.

Parker pushed the memories. " talk about what. There's nothing to talk about," she growled gun raised at the woman even though she was never going to shoot it.
