Gone. Everything, everyone was gone.

I'm stumbling through the wreckage that was once called Magnolia, whimpering and crying like some pathetic creature while I looked for any sign of life. But there is none. Just the mangled bodies of my friends. My family. Erza, Gray, Lucy, Master, everyone. All their bodies mangled, broken, and crushed in gruesome ways I can't even begin to describe. Even civilians were caught in this massacre.

I'm sore. Covered in lacerations, bruises, and burns. I vaguely feel the dull pain in my leg as I limp through the smoldering rubble.

I can't be alone. Not again. There has to be another survivor. There has to.

Zeref and Acnologia had taken us all by surprise by attacking Fiore. Starting with Fairy Tail in Magnolia. None of us were prepared. The battle was long and bloody with many casualties, before the offenders, seemingly satisfied with the destruction they have caused. Leaving me a sobbing mess, forcing my injured body amongst the ruins for someone. Anyone. Whether they thought I was dead, or wanted me to suffer in loneliness, is something u might never know the answer to.

I hear a strangled cough and a grunt that sounds more like a whine. A survivor? I hobble toward to noise, bringing me to a pile of what appears to have once been a wall. Another pain filled sound causes me to force my sore and bloody hands to push and lift stones with much difficulty. My broken ribs scream in protest, but that doesn't matter. Eventually, I see hair. Soft, pink hair that's now drenched and matted with blood and dirt.

"Natsu?" My voice came out in a way that sounds so foreign. It sounded like it's been scrubbed with gravel and glass. With renewed adrenaline, I manage to lift the heaviest part off of him and push it aside, only to collapse at the use of the possibly last bit of my energy.

I look at my long time friend and let out a chocked sob. He's still alive, but he was struggling to stay that way. He's in far worse shape than I am. His left arm was definitely broken in more than one spot from what I can tell. Also, while he obviously has no burns, he also has multiple lacerations and bruises that ranges from a darkening yellow to an angry purple. A large cut is present along his torso and it appears to have only just stopped bleeding out. Part of his chest is caved as well. If the blood dripping from the side of his mouth is any indication, he most like has some internal bleeding. His clothes are nothing more than shreds of cloth, dangling from his body. His scarf, by some miracle survived, but not without a few tears and multiple blood and dirt stains. His eyes were half open and glazed over while he gasped for air, breath after painful breath.

I look over his form again and notice that his other arm was also pretty banged up, yet was curled protectively around a shaking blue mass of dirty fur.

Happy.

I carefully crawl over Natsu, trying not to touch his most serious injuries so I can reach Happy. I was interrupted by a weak but threatening growl from Natsu. I pause and notice his unfocused glare trained on me.

"Natsu? It's me. Kisaiya." I croak out in my raw voice. "We're friends, remember? I have to help you and Happy. Please." I whimper.

His growling calms and the unfocused glare turns to faint recognition. His nostrils flare slightly, taking in my scent, and he relaxes. The shivering mass under his arm moves, revealing to me large eyes filled with tears.

"Kisaiya!" He yells and flings himself from Natsu's protective grip and slamming into my chest. The pain from my broken ribs flare up, but I ignore it in favor of the distraught Exceed in my arms.

"Ev-Everyone is – They're all – " He begins wailing into my ruined shirt. I pat his ears in a vain attempt at comfort. Natsu is trying to sit up, but is in too much pain to get far. I set the sobbing Happy on a stone and help Natsu sit against a slab of concrete.

"Are the others…?" He murmurs once he is settled against the concrete. He didn't even need to finish the question before my broken expression gave him the answer he needed. Tears start to stream down his face and he lets out a loud roar into the heavens. A roar filled with anguish, mourning, and defeat. The roar could have probably been heard for miles, if anyone was around to hear, at least.

Grabbing Happy, I move to sit next to Natsu and rest my head on his good shoulder and cried along with him. I don't know how long we've been sitting here, mourning the loss of our nakama and our home. It could have been hours for all I know.

A soft, white glow appears in the corners of my eyes. I look up and see the first master of Fairy Tail, Mavis Vermillion. She also looks distraught at the remaining rubble that was once our guild.

"Our home has been destroyed." Her melodic voice cracked and glittering tears began descending down her face.

"What do we do now?" My voice, though clearer, can barely rise above a whisper. "Where can we go?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Natsu growled, angry tears still on his face. "We avenge the guild! They can't get away with this! They won't!"

"Natsu…" "No! They destroyed everything!" If he had full energy and health right now, I'm sure he'd be blazing an inferno about now.

"Believe me, Natsu. I see that." Mavis says firmly. "But at your current level of strength, you'll just be another casualty."

Natsu seethes at this, but we all know she's right.

"There is another world, and I can send you there. You can grow up again. Start over." She continues.

"And leave them here?!" Natsu shouts. "We can't just up and leave after what those bastards did! Everyone is DEAD because of them, and you want us to leave?!" He rants and Happy sobs even harder into my shirt. I glared at Natsu, but he was right. We need to avenge the avenge the guild. Neither of them deserves any less.

"I agree, but what can we do? Even Master couldn't-" I cut myself off and felt a choked sob in my throat. I take a deep breath, holding in another bout of tears.

"I know you want retribution. And you shall give it to them, I promise. But now is not the time. I will send you to a world where you can learn the skills necessary to defeat Zeref and Acnologia, once and for all. It will take years to accomplish this, but you both can do it." The First explains.

"What sort of world are you sending us to?" Happy sniffles quietly.

"A world of shinobi. A world where jutsu prevails instead of magic. Of course, you will still get to keep your magic as it is. However, you age will have to be reversed in order to avoid complications when you receive the training needed to defeat Zeref and Acnologia."

"We accept." Natsu says with every ounce of determination. I nod in confirmation and Happy looks just as determined as Natsu.

Mavis gives us a sad, yet approving smile. "Before I send you off, please, promise me this. Don't let anger and vengeance cloud your hearts and judgment. While the grief may be great, please attempt to make some happiness for yourselves. For everyone else's sakes. Be happy for their sake."

"We promise." I say and see the Fire Dragon Slayer nod. "Aye!" Happy promises as well.

She nods and begins a chant that sounds both ethereal and ancient. A blinding white light fills the air, before it fades into darkness.

Sorry if this chapter is crappy, just getting started. Some things may be wrong since I got behind in Fairy Tail and decided to start over (I'm in the Jellal vs Erza part, I'll catch up eventually). And I have an idea on what my OCs magic should be, but nothing certain. Any suggestions on her magic or anything throughout the story are helpful. Please review!
