How long has it been? Looking up at the moon Hitomi let out a sigh. How long has it been since I've been back, she thought. One year? Two?
"Do you miss me?" she wondered out loud, thinking of Van. "Because I know I'm going crazy without you," she whispered to the stars.
Hitomi come back to me... please. Van was looking at the Mystic Moon, which hung in the sky beside Gaea's moon. Where are you, he wondered. "I miss you so much," he said with a sigh. "I need you back here with me. Please return to Gaea, to me."
Lying on her bed Hitomi closed her eyes and thoguht only of her Gaean angel; his black hair, his smooth cheeks, his sweet lips, his tender hands. "Call for me and I will go back to you and your world," she whispered.
"Return to me," he whispered as he stood on the edge of his balcony, his white wings spread. He closed his eyes and thought of Hitomi Kanzaki. And without knowing it, his wings gave powerful flaps, taking him to Earth.
Time stopped. The only thing that existed was Van and Hitomi's united dream. They opened thier eyes to find themselves in each toher's arms, floating in a wide, empty space. Looking at each toher they smiled and closed their eyes again, both leaning in for a kiss. When they woke up, the tingle on their lips would be the only evidence that they had been together.
