Something To Remember
The rain poured down, soaking every corner of the grey city streets. Only the dim light of street lamps made it's way through the flow that poured down from the dark night sky. The smell of exhaust and rain lingered in the air and the only sounds to be heard was the never ending rain pouring down and once in a while a dog barked somewhere back in the distance.
But none of that seemed concerned him. Water dripped from his black hair and water droplets run down his ghost pale cheeks, could have been tears, it didn't matter.
Only gold flashed trough his mind, the sun kissed skin that he loved, those intense hazel eyes that were so beautiful. The silver arm that matched perfectly with the golden heart. Memories left behind, but the rest was all gone.
It hadn't always been easy, sometimes it had been worse than others, but then again sometimes it had been almost too wonderful, he missed it all, every second of what they've once had. It felt like one candle had been blown out, the one and only.
He was dripping wet, it was no use using alchemy to dry himself off, in a matter of seconds he would be all soaking wet again. And it would only make his heart throb out of pain even more, it would only remind him how alone he was, and make it a fact. He didn't want to go back to his empty apartment, to feel the scent of him, to see his stuff lying around the whole place and only to remind himself once again that he was no longer here.
He had been walking for hours, his feet ached, but one thing that ached the most was his heart. Roy had been in love, and now his love had been taken away from him, leaving him all alone with only something to remember.
