It wasn't the first time he had noticed. She was quite the leader and he was already suspecting he would follow her anywhere she asked.
She made it very clear that their motley crew of adventurers would need to put aside their true feelings for each other.
(He couldn't resist letting her know that his might not be what she suspected.)
He saw the look of pride cross her father's face, his daughter everything he could hope for. And if he himself felt the need to reinforce the sentiment to Regina with a pointed look, well, who could blame him?
