Photographs from the Past - Chapter 1: Pleasure to meet you, Bella.
"Bella, will you marry me?"
I looked into his hopeful eyes.
Michael and I have been dating for over 9 months. We met one night at a club through friends and hit it off. And how he's on his knees, asking me to marry him.
I wanna say yes. Really, I do. But do I really love him?
Yes.
...I think.
I know it sounds cheesy but I'm not really sure what love is anymore. The only person I knew that I ever really loved was my ex-boyfriend and that didn't end well at all.
Fuck, Bella. Don't think about him right now.
Michael. Right.
My mind is going a mile a minute and I realize he's still waiting for my answer.
"Yes." I blurt out.
I watched his smile grow wider as he slipped the diamond ring on my finger. He pulls me to him and kisses me soundly.
"Thank you, Bella. You made me the happiest man alive. I love you so much," he says lovingly.
I can't help but smile. "Love you too." I murmured softly. "And the ring is beautiful. You didn't have to go all out like this."
"Only for you." was his reply.
I can't help but feel this knot in the pit of my stomach. Am I making the right decision?
Regardless, I push the odd feeling away. Michael is one of the most perfect men there is out there and I couldn't be luckier to have him.
He doesn't deserve my doubts.
"Come on, let's go to bed." I smiled.

4 months later.
We are currently in the process of planning the wedding.
After looking at many receptions, we finally settled for a simple yet elegant venue. We have already decided on the music, the flowers and most of the decor.
Today, I was meeting with Michael and the photographer for lunch. Michael speaks very highly of him so I'm pretty excited to meet him.
After about 15 minutes of driving, I arrived.
I parked my Audi and walk towards the restaurant. I spot Michael in his blue button-down with the sleeves rolled up and black dress pants. Very nice. He sees me as well and waves me over.
I make my way over to their table as I observe the photographer. His back is turned to me so I can't exactly see his face but there is something about him that is oddly familiar.
As I reached the table, Michael stands up to greet me. "Bella! This is the photographer I was telling you about." The photographer turns around.
No.
Fucking.
Way.
"Edward Masen, this is my fiancée, Bella Swan." Michael beams proudly.
He stands up and puts his hand forward. "Pleasure to meet you, Bella," he says in a velvety voice I know all too well.
And there stood none other the my ex-boyfriend, Edward Masen.
A/N: So...what did you think? This story is going to be around 15 chapters, so it's not really long and its one of the firsts I've ever written. Please review and tell me what you think! xxx
