You snuggled closer against your boyfriend, Rin. You sighed, staring aimlessly at the movie that was currently playing on your TV. He was snoring, head tipped back, drooling dripping, and occasionally twitching.
So cute.
You had picked a chick flick because you knew he was fall asleep like he normally does. Most girls would've look at you weirdly. Why pick a movie, on purpose, to make your boyfriend fall asleep? Most girls pick a movie because they actually want to watch it. Easy.
When it was just him, his brother, or you, his tail was comfortably out. He said his tail was constricting, so you I urged him that it was alright to let it out in your dorm room. You didn't have a roomie, anyway. You lived snugly with your manga and blankets. And food.
You eyed it, watching it occasionally flop around. Your hand that was in his hair twitched. Oh man, how you wanted to just grab it... So you did.
You held it gently and looked at it in fascination. You poked it and he moved slightly. You waited from him to stop moving. You looked down again and squeezed it.
Rin shot up and grabbed his tail, staring at you. Your eyes was wide and your mouth was open. You have never seen him respond like that.
"W-what are you doing?" He asked, eyes wide, yet tired. You scratched your head awkwardly.
"I, um, I really wanted to see your tail. It's kind of cute, like a cat." You admitted. He shook his head and sighed, sitting beside you again. He wrapped his arm behind your shoulder.
"It's not cute. Man, you are so weird, (y/n)." He chuckled, watching the TV again, regaining his bored expression. You pouted and poked his face, watching him scrunch it up.
"Yes, I think it's cute, and you're cute, too!" You teased. He rolled his blue eyes. "Oh hush and watch your movie." He grunted, looking away in embarrassment. No man should ever be called cute. Not even by his girlfriend. It was unmanly. It was undeniably, shamefully, unmanly.
The two of you sat in silence before he spoke. "I love you." You blushed. "I love you, too." Rin blinked. "I wasn't talking about you. The guy in the movie was about to 'I love you', so I said it for him."
You frowned, disappointed. "Oh." He noticed your frown. "I do love you, just to put it out there."
"Yeah? Doesn't seem like it." You sighed, slightly upset. You continued watching the girl in the movie laugh and respond to the boy. They soon held hands and ran away-
He hummed. He grabbed your face and pressed his lips to yours and your eyes widened. Your hands flew into the air, unsure where to place them. He released your face and looked at the screen again as if nothing happened. He had a smug grin on his handsome, not cute, face.
"I told you." You couldn't answer, either from shock your disbelief.
"I could kiss you more. Your mouth looks lonely without mine."
Well, actually, you were pretty convinced he loved you.
