Gus's POV
Everyone was squeezing my shoulder and saying 'Good Luck, Gus.' It was surprising, but I knew I was going to miss them all.
Finally, Carmen, Johnny and Mike were the only ones who remained. I expected another squeeze on the shoulder and a 'Good Luck' but Carmen surprised me by putting her arms around me in a hug. Just as I moved my arms slightly to hug her back, she pulled away.
"Goodbye, Gus. It's gonna be fine." She said, before she walked back towards the house.
Johnny put a hand on my shoulder. "See you, Gus. It won't be the same without you." He said, before heading back to the house. In the distance, I saw him put an arm round Carmen and they walked in together.
I turned to Mike. It was time to say goodbye.
