Author's note: Just a little something I wanted to put my creative juices into for a while. I have a pretty good idea where this story is going with and it's with plenty of slash and femmeslash. If same-sex relationships make you squirm, turn back now or face the consequences. 'shrugs' Nothing more to say about that..

Inked Lullabies
"One crow, sorrow, two crows, joy, three crows for a girl, four crows for a boy, five crows for silver, six crows for gold, seven crows for a secret that's never been told." Ashe Corven
Prologue;
As the sky bruised over into nighttime, the crisp autumn air pricked at Elisha's skin like icy shoots of needles. She sat huddled on the park bench; the hood of her gray sweatshirt pulled tightly over her sandy blonde hair as she stared out into the empty park. She was still, waiting, and listened--
--the eerie creaking of swing chains being carried along with the breeze--the moaning of the winds fading into the air--footsteps--heavy panting; the kind after a long run--it came from beside her--then--hoarsely-- "Elisha?"
Numbly, Elisha turned around to stare at the face of the other girl, "Nan."Her voice sounded hoarse to her own ears, as if she were being strangled.
Elisha couldn't take it anymore and jumped off the bench, running into the other girl's arms. Elisha kissed her, she could feel Nan taken by surprise before deepening it in return, and then--
Elisha tasted her tears.
Autumn had never felt so frigid, so steel, and Elisha knew she couldn't fight against it. At least not anymore.
It's short, I know, I know but hey I'm proud of it...Chapter two will be coming shortly...I hope.
