Ciao reader! I finally took the time to write a real story. Anyway, it is based off a Korean animated film, Leafie: A Hen into the Wild. (And the story title is the movie's K-Pop theme song.) Enjoy.;)

Chapter 1: Behind Closed Walls

Once, in a different dimension there was a town called Litwack. It was a peaceful and quiet town despite the monsters that dwelled around the area. Everyone knew one another and there was a sense of community and togetherness, citizens looked out for each other and always checked up on their neighbors. However, not everyone was like this.

On the poorer side of town there amongst other buildings stood an old mansion, the house looked like no one had gave it proper care in ages. Colors faded with chipping paint as some windows were boarded up, giving the mansion a haunting aura. In there lived Mr. Raymond Mackee, a bitter, temperamental man with a hunchback, a small figure with dry brown hair and a sneer on his face. Raymond rarely socialized with anyone and when he did it was rarely positive. Instead he kept to himself locked up in his home all day. Rumor also has it that a man of unusual height was in Raymond's house. "Who else live there? Is it as bad as the monsters that lived in the woods?"

Actually, he is Raymond's younger brother named Ralph and here is his tale...

The large figure of a male stood near the window of his bedroom, his immense hand pressed gently across the glass. It was his only way to see the outside world. "What I'd kill just to be outside for one day. Just one." Ralph mentally told himself with a sigh. Yes, ever since his older brother had locked him up in his house, Ralph had been yearning to taste the outside world. Just to act like a normal human being and live life like he wanted. Fat chance that was going to happen.

"Still thinking of the outside world, eh Ralph?" A cracked voice spoke as the large man turned to see a tiny Raymond at his door.

The large man groaned. "Yeah I was, but come on Ray just for one day could you let me go outside?"

In response Raymond just let out a small chuckle. "Now, now Ralph my brother. I'm afraid I can't let you do that. I mean how will everyone react when they see you? Your huge, a freak of nature practically." The hunchback hissed as he put his younger sibling down. "I'm just fulfilling what Mom and Dad wanted me to do. And do you remember what that was?"

"Keep me inside at all costs." He muttered.

"What was that?"

"Keep me inside at all costs!" He practically yelled, his thin temper starting to boil. Raymond on the other hand was unfazed as a devilish smug grin was now tattooed to his face. "That's a good brother. Now get ready for dinner." The small male spoke as he left the dorm, leaving a hot tempered Ralph to himself. Ever since they were children, his older brother used to bully him for being a giant freak and not being able to leave the house. That bullying lasted well into adulthood. Surely Ralph could have easily beaten his tinier brother. Why didn't he do it? He didn't have the heart, Why couldn't he have just tried to escape? Raymond had some high tech security and even a well trained guard dog to make that Ralph didn't escape.

The man shouted as he punched the wall, leaving a huge hole before sitting down on his tiny bed. He couldn't take it anymore. Lately he had dedicated most of his time to trying to figure out Raymond's security traps, he figured most of them out, well enough to attempt a run for freedom. Tonight was the night, tonight he was breaking out.

Aha, hope you're the story so far. I know its a slow start, but it will pick up quickly. Chapters 2 and 3 are done, now its just a matter of uploading them. haha
