A/N: Written earlier during Physics class (when I really should be paying attention) in attempt to restore my writing skills back to how they were before, and if possible, to improve them even more. And yes, it's for my friend, oyasumiQuincy. Happy Birthday, dear!

sigh I want a White Christmas...and instead I get a typhoon and the upcoming exams... --;;

Fuji hurried to where Tezuka was calmly standing beside a streetlamp, breath coming out in visible puffs.

"Were you waiting for long?" he asked, adjusting his scarf.

"No." was all Tezuka said, and he turned and began to walk with slow, purposeful stride, feet crunching on the blanket of snow on the ground.

The two walked in silence, Fuji breathing in the scent of winter, and basking in the little sunshine the sky offered.

He suddenly stopped when he finally figured out what was off with Tezuka that day.

"Tezuka…why aren't you wearing earmuffs?"

In that moment that Tezuka turned away from him again, Fuji was sure he saw a hint of pink on his cheeks, and the tensai was quite sure it had nothing to do with the cold.

"I forgot."

Fuji smiled, amused. Tezuka was still the same well-mannered person that he was, preferring to stand the cold than be late for a meeting, however casual.

Well, he did have another pair of earmuffs with him that he brought for entertainment--those pink, fluffy ones that his Nee-san used to wear back when she was in high school. It would look awfully cute on his stoic buchou…

Fuji looked up again to Tezuka and stifled a chuckle. Maybe later, he decided. Tezuka's red ears were kind of cute, too.
