Shimmerpaw looked up from where she sat on the highrock. Now usually this would be a good thing, it would be an honor. Not today though. The leader of Thunderclan Bluestar had gone insane and now is accusing everyone of being a traitor because of the former deputy of Thunderclan, Tigerclaw being an evil killer. Shimmerpaw is Tigerclaw's second daughter.
"Shimmerpaw, do you now what happens to dirty traitors like you?" hissed Bluestar circling her with impatience.
"No Bluestar. Considering I have done nothing wrong I would not." Meowed Shimmerpaw looking straight ahead.
"Yes…BUT I DO!" she snarled smacking Shimmerpaw across the muzzle with claws unsheathed.
Shimmerpaw fell from the impacted with blood streaking her mouth. "What have I done to deserve this!?" Thought Shimmerpaw.
"A daughter of a traitor shall turn out to be a traitor…. you and your siblings shall be sent into exile." Bluestar yowled.
Tawnykit and Bramblekit looked in shock at their leader. Shimmerpaw sat next to them defensively.
"BLUESTAR!! I SHALL NEVER GIVE UP MY KITS!" Goldenflower hissed jumping infront of the three.
Bluestar flicked her tail to Darkstripe and Longtail who dragged Goldenflower into the elder's den. They came back and took the kits and placed them in front of Bluestar who glared at them in disgust.
"If you are seen in our territory by moonhigh my warriors have permission to kill you. If they do so bring their traitor pelts to me, I wish to wear them then." She meowed. All the cats gasped and looked at Bluestar in shock. She simply flicked her tail to Darkstripe and Longtail again.
"Darkstripe, Longtail teach these traitors a lesson and leave them on the border." Bluestar ordered.
"With pleasure Bluestar." Chuckled Darkstripe who grabbed Shimmerpaw and threw her against a tree. Then everything went black..
