Maybe it was because when they met she was crying.
Maybe it was because of her smiing eyes, masked in sadness.
Maybe it was because her long brown hair glistened in the rain.
Maybe it's because dark, blue eyes met his and he lost himself in them.
All Percy Weasley knew was when he met Audrey, she was not a normal girl.
He had heard stories about people waliing on the street, they see a girl, she takes their breath away.
Well he was gasping for air now.
He must have looked a mess.
Jeans with a t-shirt, the logo of George's story stamped proudly on it.
Red hair in need of a hair-cut, glasses matted with rain.
But then she smiled, so softly, so beautifully.
As if he was the only one in the room.
As if she had found some-sort-of hope.
Girls had never looked at Percy this way before.
She extended her had, fingers long and slender, the kind that were made to play the piano.
She smiled again.
Brighter this time, her tears slowing down as she stared at the man a few years older than her.
The man that was now sitting down next to her.
Shifting her hair away from her face.
And it felt great not to be scared of this man as his thumb brushed away her tears.
Smiling into her eyes.
Bright red-hair, that seemed to glow in the darkening sky.
"My names Percy," he says.
"Audrey," she replies, her breath knocked away by his voice.
The voice that sweeps into her and soars into her heart, mending it and making her smile again.
He stands then and without him she feels cold, lost and alone.
He looks down at her his expression shifting, "Are you lost?" he asks.
"I think I found my way," Audrey says, her voice like bright flowing chimes, bells that sweep over him and through him.
He extends his hand, his eyes smiling down at her.
She reaches for him.
Her hand meets his.
He helps her to her feet, they smile at each other.
Words unspoken between them. As they walk through the rain, hand-in-hand.
Words they know...
They now have a lifetime to say...
