Molly smiles as she gives her fiancée his Christmas present. "Merry Christmas, love."
Lucius smiles, gentle devotion shining in his eyes. He deftly unwraps the present, gulping when he pulls out the green Christmas jumper. There's a gigantic 'L' on it, making it like all of the other Christmas jumpers that she sends. "It's...lovely, darling."
She giggles like a school girl, hand covering her mouth. "I know it's not your usual style, but it's tradition, and if we're going to be married, you need to get used to it. Just like Arthur had to get used to it. Do you understand?"
"Of course, love. Anything you say."
"Good," Molly chirps. "I also made them for Draco and Narcissa, and Astoria of course. I'm sure they'll all love it."
"I'm sure." Lucius gulps, already anticipating Narcissa's screeching at the ugliness of it and Draco's snarky sarcasm about what Lucius has to deal with now that he's engaged to a Weasley. "I'm sure," he repeats, silently wondering what he has gotten himself into.
