Scarla's POV
I don't know how it happened it just did. He was my best friend for as long as I can remember but I know if I tell him it might ruin our friendship.
I saw him coming around the corner from the regular Pizzeria, Ed's Place. I tried to turn & walk the other direction but he was already calling my name from across the street.
'Hey Scarla, Scarla'. I flinched. I turned & saw he was only 1 or 2 metres apart. ' Oh hey, Skeeta', I said. This was gonna a be a interesting chat.
Skeeta's POV
Scarla looks a bit pale & she's very quite too, its not like her at all. I wonder what's up. I was going to ask her what was wrong but she cut me off.
' So, about the homework...' She began but I was not listening I was too busy thinking about her… wait. This is Scarla we're talking about I can't blurt how I feel about her right in front of her. She's my best friend since kindergarten. While I was thinking all those things I noticed that Scarla was looking at me. 'Oh yeah, the homework. Hey I know this great spot near Flintwood Lake.' I got a nod in response.
This was great… no better, this was perfect. All of a sudden this young boy came out of nowhere &… oh no! She fell into the lake.
I sprang in to action. Taking my top & shoes off in the process. Lets hope no-one saw the whole heroic act.
Scarla's POV
I could feel the air closing in on me. I couldn't swim, never could because I was afraid to. Just then I felt arms around my body. Someone was saving me.
I coughed out the access water in my lungs & lifted my head to see who rescued me. It was Skeeta. He had muscles & a six-pack. I could remember the time when we were kids when we went to the beach every summer. He was running around chasing after me with some creature from the rock pools. No, he actually looked… Hot!
After the incident we decided we'd pack up for the day & go to Skeeta's house. His Parents we out working & his little sister was having a sleep-over at her friend's house. So it was just us two… alone. ' Hey Scarla?' He asked. I replied 'Yeah?' ' There's something I been meaning to tell you for a while now & I want you to know that…' I couldn't wait any longer I took hold of him & our lips collided. I finally done it. Wow! This was easier than I thought
