"What are you so afraid of?!" Desmond nearly screamed, tears welling in his eyes. It took every ounce of strength he had to hold back the tears that threatened to spill down his cheeks.
"I'm not afraid of anything you arrogant fool!" Shaun retaliated, crossing his arms to his chest. Shaun took a step towards Desmond and furrowed his eyebrows. "Its not my fault you have feelings for me!" he hissed, just inches away from his face. "In case I was not clear, I do not have feelings for you. Nor will I ever have feelings for you! I'm not even gay!" His words tore through Desmond like a blade.
Desmond could feel himself growing more and more angry. Impulsively, Desmond grabbed Shaun's hand and jerked Shaun closer to him and their lips collided. Shaun's eyes widened and he struggled to pull away, but Desmond refused to let Shaun get away that easily. Finally, Shaun shoved Desmond away and Desmond stumbled backwards onto the wall.
"What the bloody hell, Desmond!" Shaun was screaming now. His cheeks a deep red.
Desmond just looked Shaun straight in the eye, his face blank of emotion. "If you can honestly say you felt nothing right then, then I'll leave you alone." He said calmly.
Shaun went to object but he stopped himself mid-sentence. "I-..." He began to blush furiously. "Desmond," Shaun's voice was calmer now. There were no hints of anger, or frustration. "I told you I'm not in to yo-"
Desmond looked at Shaun with his big brown eyes. "Shaun please. If this is real, we at least need to try to make this happen." He said, taking a step closer to him. "And if this isn't meant to be...at least we tried." he said softly. "Trust me, I never imagined I would fall in love with another guy...but then I met you." Desmond slowly reached out and touched Shaun's hand. This time, Shaun didn't jerk away, or shout at Desmond. Instead, he took Desmond's hand in his. This caused Desmond to widen his eyes, and give Shaun a puzzled look.
"I'm sorry, Desmond." Shaun said solemnly. He slowly brought his lips to Desmond's and he placed his free hand on Desmond's cheek. Desmond stiffened up, but slowly began to relax. Shaun trailed his lips up Desmond's cheekbone and up to his ear. "I guess I can't hide my feelings forever."
Desmond grinned wildly at Shaun's words. He wrapped his hands around Shaun's back and smiled as he began to kiss Shaun passionately. Shaun parted his lips and Desmond gained entry to his mouth. His tongue began to explore the inside of Shaun's mouth. Suddenly, Desmond started to push Shaun backwards until they bumped into the big desk in the middle of Shaun's study. They both squirmed on top of the desk and Desmond straddled Shaun.
"I'm so glad you feel the same way..." He mumbled as he nuzzled his face into Shaun's neck.
