Nico sat at a park bench close to a bus stop, his mind racing.

His thoughts wandered to a person he loved most: Bianca. Gods, Nico just wanted her back. He missed her caring hugs, her warm smiles, her soothing voice and her affectionate love.

More thoughts filled his head and as they filled his mind, his eyes welled with tears.

The streets of Manhattan ceased as people headed home, the cold air thickening the starry night sky. Lamp posts switched on, buildings shone with light and families huddled together near the fire place inside their home.

Nico bowed his head, his long, shaggy, hair dangling in front of his eyes. Droplets of water fell to the ground, but it wasn't raining. As Nico cried, he felt a presence next to him but he left it alone.

"Hey,"

Nico looked up to find a girl with charcoal brown eyes, tan brown skin, black hair that was tied into a fishtail and finished off with a green beanie. Her silver sweater shone, her black leggings tight around her legs and combat boots one size bigger than her original size. She smiled. "Long time, no see." She mused, looking at Nico's bewildered expression.

"What? H-how-" Nico stuttered, his hands flying everywhere.

"What? Just because I chose rebirth doesn't mean I'll forget you. Families never forget each other."

"Why?" Nico asked, "Why did you leave me, Bianca?"

"Nico... I thought it was best for you. I wanted you to be safe." Bianca explained as she hugged her brother. "I'm sorry... For everything."

Nico hugged her back, all his troubles fading. As he wrapped his hands around her back, his lips curved upward until he found himself smiling.
