She bent down and tried to put her other shoe on, she was very unsuccessful.
"George, I need help." He walks back into their bedroom and looks at his fiancée, she was wearing jeans, a bra, socks and one shoe.
"How may I be of assistance?" She smiled weakly.
"I can't get my shoe on." He moved closer to her and kissed her forehead.
"It's just a shoe, we can fix it, love." She wipes at the undersides of her eyes and catches the tears that were about to fall. He bends down and picks up her foot, rubbing it gently for a moment before putting the light sneaker on.
"What shirt are you wearing?" She looked down at herself.
"I don't know, one that will fit." George goes over to the closet and grabs a red shirt that had stretchy sides.
"Here you go, wear this one, I love it." She smiles and slips the shirt over her head and pulls it down to fit over her huge bump. He sits down next to her and takes her hand.
"Tomorrow we're getting married, and then in four months we're going to be blessed with two little baby boys. I love you so much, you know that right?" She nods. "Good, then, chin up today, and when you come home I'll have dinner made for you." She smiles and kisses him.
"Thank you George."
"You're very welcome dear." He helps her stand up and they walk to the kitchen. The pancakes he had made were still hot so they sat down and ate in relative peace until a large blast was heard from downstairs and then the sound of feet running up stairs, then the door pushed open.
"George, help needed! Morning Hermione!" He said everything in a rush and Hermione watched her fiancé run out the door after kissing her cheek.
