Normandy

"Hedgerows"

The soldier was running. Wheather he was running for his life or because he was trained to, ether way he ran. He ran from the MGs, the mortors, the chaos in a field hundreds of miles from his home and his family. He kept running when he was suddenly hit in the leg. He fell and rolled on his back dirt flying in the air around him, he then saw a smoking truck and in the smoke he saw his life before this. He was toy maker, he made objects of life now he destroys objects of death. A kraut suddenly leapt through the smoke and aimed his rifle at the soldiers head. The soldier closed his eyes ready to die. BLAM! His squad's sergeant ran up with his shotgun blazing, he gives the soldier a nod and finds cover. Another man gives the soldier a new rifle and fires at the krauts. Two other soldiers emerge from behind a hedgerow and shoot at the advancing enemy, all of the soldiers continue fighting completely surrounded. The scene fades to black revealing these words: "Brothers in Arms" "Brothers in Battle" "Brothers to the End"
