The loud banging on Jey's hotel room door startled him awake. It took the young man a few minutes to figure out where he was as the banging got louder. He knew by the knocking pattern it was his brother, his brother that he would kill for interrupting his sleep, especially after the day before contained a long flight and late night party involving alcohol.
He yanked opened the door glaring at his twin, why the hell was he up so early anyway?
"Hey uce," his older brother said trying to walk past him to get into the room, Jey wasn't budging.
"Why are you here?" he asked watching Jimmy roll his eyes before asking why he couldn't visit his twin without being interrogated.
"With you it's never just a visit, what do you want Jimmy?" he asked watching the tall man trying to look into his room.
"Is Cameron here?"
What kind of question was that, why the hell would she be in his room?
"Naomi was worried about her and Kofi said he saw her leave with you," Jimmy smiled still trying to get a peek into his brother's room.
"She left with me, but she checked into her own room." Jey knew Jimmy wouldn't leave unless he saw for himself that she wasn't there, he had gotten it in his head that something was going on between the two of them. Of course two people that hardly associated with each other would have something going on, Jimmy logic.
He moved back allowing his brother into his room to do his own investigation. He tried not to laugh at the disappointed or confused, he couldn't make it out, look on Jimmy's face.
Jimmy told his fiancé that most likely Cameron was with his brother in order to calm her worry because her partner hadn't called her not once since last night. Now, he wasn't so sure of his statement.
"Do you know what room she checked into?"
"I don't know try the fourth floor or something," Jey answered dismissively ushering his brother out of his room before telling him that he also hoped that Cameron was okay before closing his door.
He got back into bed pulling the covers over him only to feel a body slip in beside him.
"You know he'll figure out that I didn't check into a room right?" the "missing" woman said beside him and he laughed pulling her in close.
"Yeah, but it will take him a long time, just like it will take him a long time to figure out that there isn't a fourth floor."
Cameron laughed pressing her lips to Jey before pulling away, "I should text Naomi, I didn't mean to worry her." As her hands picked up her phone, another pair of hands put it down.
"You can do that later," Jey whispered pinning her beneath him while working on her neck with his lips, her nails tangled in his hair as he kissed downward on her neck.
She could call Naomi whenever Jimmy figured out that his brother had lied to him.
