"If you come right in here I can introduce you to the witness," the officer said leading the way and checking back to see that 5.0 was following. They were led through the hotel suite to a corner office - uncluttered and spaciously furnished. At first the women blended in with the natural colouring of the office, her off-white suit matching the walls. She was petite and wore respectable shoes. Her hair however shown brightly - red as fresh spilled blood.
"Miss, these gentleman will want to speak with you. This is..." the officer began to rattle off their names as the young woman turned. The mug of tea held in her hands fell away, tumbling to the ground. Her arms fell slack at her side as she stared at the man before her.
In a blur her arms were wrapped around the neck of the Lieutenant Commander as his arms wrapped around her wait just as tightly. Danny had already pulled his gun out of his holster and had it aimed at the young woman - thoroughly confused at the returned embrace.
Danny relaxed his weapon as the sounds of muffled crying reached him, noticing also how even the Commander was affected - his arms wrapped tightly around her wait and head as he cried into her hair. Noticing the awkwardness of the officer standing-by he ordered "We'll take it from here officer".
They were left alone in the corner office.
"Isabel, Isabel" Steven mumbled as he pulled her back to stare into her eyes brushing back her hair to see her face to know she is there and real.
"Steven, I -" her sobs choked as the tears welled-up in her deep blue eyes.
"I thought you were dead..." they both said at the same time starting the tears off anew.
