Sakura opened her eyes to see Itachi kneeling in front of her with a foam cup.
"It turns out that Iwa does have a place to get decent coffee," he said, lips twitching upwards slightly.
Sakura sat up and pushed her hair out of her eyes. They had happened upon each other less than a week ago and had both been traveling for weeks to shake Danzou's Anbu from their trail. Itachi was wanted for rendezvousing with Tsunade and revealing information not only about the Uchiha Massacre, but information he had gathered on Danzou as well. And after Tsunade's murder...Sakura was wanted simply for trying to save her master's life.
And as a reward, they were now stuck in a crummy one room apartment that didn't even have it's own bathroom.
As if reading her mind, Itachi murmured, "Coffee tends to make life more bearable. Give it a try."
