AUTHOR NOTE - I wrote this in a good mood. :3 so here, fluffiness for you all. Reviews, yes? :D

The water was a dream. The salt, and the palm, the sand that stuck to his clothing, the brunette in his arms. It wouldn't ever tear anyone up as much as it did each time he woke up from one of these perfect dreams.

I watched for seashells as each wave pulled the sand, and pushed it back. It wasn't any fair that I couldn't find one nice enough for him.

"Riku! Let's adventure today!"

Sora's voice echoed in my mind, and I imagined it again.

"Riku, what's up with that paopu?"

I smiled at that particular memory, before the voice came back. "Riku, what are you doing?" I breathed the salt, listening to the memories. "Riku?" I turned, Sora was there now, leaning against a palm tree. "Are you spacing out over there?" he jokingly asked, and I walked over to him.

"I'm not spacing. I'm looking for raft supplies." I poked his chest lightly as I walked by, a huff coming from him. "You're especially mean today, Riku." Sora whined, but I only smiled, before asking, "What have you found for the raft?" The sun was blazing, making each and every thing sparkle under it's rays. The ocean was blinding to look at, and the white sand was just the same.

"I.. uh.. found some mushrooms." he mumbled quietly. I could hear the groan he was stifling. "Well.. thanks. We need those, I guess." The groan was out. "You're such a bad liar Riku!" I shrugged, keeping my pace so I was in front of him. He noticed that and sped up to my side. I gave him a quick glare, before widening my steps, and taking my spot in front of him again. Sora huffed, and then went on running. The boy was just so competitive. I rolled my eyes, but joined the brunette in the race. I was at his side again in moments, then passed him and won the game that ended right after he saw me.

He gave up.

The clouds were turning pink and the sun was falling into the ocean. It would be night once the light blue turned dark. The raft was finished. We would leave the next morning, and explore every world the ocean could lead us to. "You know what I'd love to see, Riku?"I shrugged, adjusting my arms under my head that kept the sand off my neck and hair. "I want to see a meteor shower. It would be pretty… like falling stars." I sighed, nodding half heartily in agreement, then he added, "That would be pretty." Sora looked up at me from his place in the sand and lye his head on my chest. "We should try that next, Riku. We should try and make the stars fall." I suppressed the scoff, and started thinking about what he said. That was completely impossible. But, when you took a second glance, so was finding different worlds by raft.

Maybe we could make the stars fall.

"Sora?" He looked up again, this time he kept staring. "I love you." His lips parted, and then he nodded. "I love you, too, Riku." I hadn't said that to him in a long time. I wished I had.

We'd do that next. We'd make the stars fall.

I pushed myself up with my elbows, Sora pulling away to let me up. He was still looking at me. My eyes dropped, but I let my hands grab his shoulders. I pulled, and he fell right into me. I held Sora for the longest time, and I felt him hugging me back. Even clutching my top that was covered with sand. "I love you, too, Riku." he repeated, and I hugged him tighter against me. He whimpered, "I do." I closed my eyes.

And then I opened them.

White. Everything was white. I tried to make myself believe I was still with him on that island. Just him and I, but there he was in that flower sleeping. I realized what had woken me. It was Namine crying.

She wanted Sora to wake up so badly.

I would shake away the tears, though.

I wouldn't ever cry in front of him.

It would wake him up from his dream.
