Hey everybody. I don't usually post here but I was very torn up over Sirius' death and I wanted to do something to ease my mind. Hopefully it will ease yours as well. The viewpoint could be from either Harry or Lupin. Let me know who you think fits better. Thanks a bunch. ~saige

                 Your Name

I speak your name to the darkness,

So much emotion in just one word.

No matter how many times you lose someone dear,

Acceptance is a harsh thing to learn.

I say it again, stronger this time,

And think of what the world will never know.

They still believe you to be a murderer, a crook,

Yet us that were close to you know that isn't so.

You were a fighter, a free spirit,

A brother and a friend.

You were a caring godfather,

And a true marauder till the end.

But people don't realize this,

When they say your name.

They don't realize the sacrifice,

And how when needed, you came.

How you gave your life,

To let another's go.

How you died fighting bravely,

This the world will never know.

But we will win this war,

You death will not have been in vein.

And soon I will tell all the world,

What it means to say your name.

*sniff* well I do feel a little better. I hope you all enjoy this, as much as possible, anyways. It's nice to know others are just as upset by his death as I am. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem.
