The Last Battle.

The sky was dark and gray, the smoke filled with air. Militia men from all colonies stand together as one to fight the mother country. England. British troops march by a drum, coming towards them.

"BATALION HALT!" General Lord Charles Cornwallis commanded.

"HALT!" General George Washington shouted.

"Present Arms!" Cornwallis said. Washington did the same. In Washington's troops were Benjamin Martin, and his son Gabriel Martin. Fighting side by side for freedom. Peter was by their side as well. there were 8,800 American soldiers and militia ready to fight for independence.

"FIRE!" Washington commanded. Once that word came out of his mouth, all hell broke loose.

Muskets shooting every direction. Killing dozens of men of both sides. Ben Martin came face to face to no other than Colonial William Tavington. Tavington's eye's were evil looking. Ready to kill. He had his weapon at hand ready to strike. Ben came fearlessly towards the Colonial. At first he wasn't aiming at him, but his horse. While he ran towards him, his sword slashed through the horse. The horse had neighed loudly, falling hard on the ground. Tavington almost lost control, once he got up, he noticed quickly that the horse was dead. His eye's were like the devil's now. Burning with rage, he ran to Ben. All they could hear was cannon's blasting. The muskets firing, and bombs blasting. BANG! Was all they could really hear. And the sounds of pain and sorrow of the falling soldiers. The sound of the swords while they collide together. Tavington's and Ben's sword clang together fiercely. Both were weak, but neither willing to give the other victory. Gabriel was fighting a red coat. He killed the coat like it was nothing. He looked over his shoulder to find his father fighting with Tavington. The one who killed his brother back at the plantation in south Carolina. He wanted revenge. Oh yes. Sweat revenge. He screamed angrily and ran from behind Tavington. With his bloody sword he plunged his sword through Tavington's back. The blood gushed out from his mouth, his eye's turned to the back of his head. The sword was quickly withdrew before The now dead Tavington fell to the hard ground. Ben just looked at his son in disbelief. But very thankful. He was hoping that he would kill him. but obviously, they both killed him together. They couldn't exchange words before they had to continue fighting the bloody battle.

All they could see was men lying dead all around them. The smell of death rose in the air. Dead horses lying on soldiers as well.

Several later, The fight was over. Cornwallis had surrendered to Washington. Ben and Gabriel sighed in relief. Knowing now, that their freedom would come. That the war was finally over. And they were free. Free from the drawn out battle of the war.

A/N I hope you like it. it's not what I normally write. But I do love this movie. And what it stands for. Please read and review. It would help me so much. Do you think I'm a good writer when it comes to THE PATRIOT? I might write more. This is one of my favorite history related movies ever. And Mel Gibson is hot too! Lol. I love the American Revolution. It's my favorite period in America. Also, my favorite person in history. General George Washington. Leader of the continental Army, and the first President of the United States. Yeah…Hoped you like it.
