My Minds Treasures Disappeared
One day I knew everything the next
day it was gone.
At first I was like a grown deer now
I feel like a fawn.
The only man I know has me
under hypnosis.
My memery hasn't come back
not even in small doses.
There is this woman who says
she is my mother.
She looked so sad so I reached
over and hugged her.
There is a young boy who thinks
he's my brother.
Oh I'm very sorry have we met
in this place or another?
Whether I know you or not I
simply do not remember.
I wish I could make both you & I
know why my memories in a blender.
Everyone I'm supposed to know
are all so teary eyed.
If you would have seen the sight
you for sure would've cried.
As from what I do know a young
boy wouldn't lie.
So as for this unknown family I
guess I'll give it a try.
And as for my old life who knows
if I'll ever know.
But for my new one my memories
will forever and ever grow.
And as for my minds treasures I
don't know which way they veered,
But what I do know is that they
quickly disappeared.
