Taking the Stairs
House had to laugh at the irony of the situation he found himself in.
House had warned Wilson about getting into another relationship. He had told Wilson that he wasn't ready for yet another serious relationship, and that perhaps he should enjoy his new-found bachelorhood. But Wilson had steadfastly refused to listen to House, and he got involved with Amber. House warned him that heartbreak would be the only outcome of the relationship because Amber would cheat, Wilson would cheat, or they would get married. And Wilson did not need a fourth ex to support.
So House had to laugh as those soft lips kissed his again; knowing that today, like every Wednesday, Amber would come to the hospital to have lunch with Wilson. Lets hope she took the stairs today.
