Didn't Understand

Bart and his girlfriend have been arguing about if Bart would stay and leave his music for her. After Bart makes his decision he knows it was the right one.

She didn't understand why i left her.

She knew that it was going to happen one of these days.

I am truly sorry it had to result to that, but she knew what she was getting in to.

She knew that there was somebody else in the relationship.

I told her countless of times that, if she didn't support my lifestyle.

That we wouldn't have a future together.

I only focused on my music with my band, as she tried to make the relationship work.

People would always tell me that if i gave her up, it would be a terrible mistake.

I now know that they were all wrong.

Yeah we had good times but my music had to come first.

A few years has now passed by, and after hearing that I wouldn't make it I did.

Now she came to one of my concerts and wants to be with me.

Well I am sorry to say this but I found somebody else.
