Andy (POV)
I was sound asleep when I heard my doorbell go off. I knew it wasn't any of my kids, so I grab my gun off my night stand. I'm glad I decided to sleep in my pajama pants, instead of sleeping in nothing like I usually do when Sharon is staying over. Sharon, I think of her as I go to my front door. I hope whoever this is, doesn't try to murder me or worst some cheap hooker Provenza has hired to sleep with me. I don't know why, he can't take no for an answer when I tell him I'm not interested in dating anyone? Sharon and I both know that if this relationship got out, we could lose our jobs and everything we have worked so hard on. How can I tell her how much she truly means to me, when I can't even take her out to show her?
Sharon (POV)
This case we have just closed has really taken its toll on me. What I need is a nice hot bath and a glass of red wine. Instead here I am at Andy's front door ringing his bell. God, what if he's asleep, or worst yet what if he's with another woman? I mean we didn't say we would be faithful to each other, when I am a married woman after all. I love him so much, but I'm afraid he's only with me for a joke or worst yet Provenza behind all of this. Maybe I should just turn around and leave before he knows I'm out here? I have never needed anyone, like I need Andy right now. I hope Rusty is alright with Tao tonight. "Andy, I'm sorry for bothering you tonight. Please forgive and I hope I didn't wake up? Love Sharon", I wrote quickly on a piece of paper. I was just taping it to his door when the door opens.
"Sharon? What are you doing here?" "Hum, truthfully I need you Andy."
"Wait? You need me? Sharon is everything alright?" Andy asks.
"No actually. I realized today how close I came to getting shot and how much you truly mean to me." Sharon says.
Come inside and we'll talk. Okay?" he says.
I go inside and take a seat on his couch waiting on him to come and sit down beside me, but he doesn't. Great he probably has another woman in his bed right now and I'm screw. However he comes into the living room carrying a glass of red wine.
"Don't worry baby. I brought this wine for you. I know how so cases affect you more than others and wine helps you to relax." Andy said.
"Andy, that's so sweet of you to do this for me. Andy I love you!" Sharon said through tears.
"I love you too. Hey don't cry baby. There's nothing to cry about okay?" Andy said.
"Andy, I don't disturb you or anything?" Sharon asks.
"Baby you can crash my party anytime. I'll leave the lights and the door open." Andy reply.
Sharon decided right then and there that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Andy. She stood up and held her hand out for him to take. They had the rest of the night to make it their own. Sharon was going to show Andy just how much he meant to her.
