The McDonald venturis where sitting around the living room opening Christmas presents it was Casey and Derek's forth and last Christmas in college and little Simon's forth Christmas Casey and Derek have been dating since grade 11 there siblings have known since the beginning but there parents just found out last year when they came for a surprise visit to Casey and Derek's apartment and last thing they thought would happen did since they have a spare key and thought Casey an Derek where out the used the key and went in but they weren't expecting though when they went in was to find Derek and Casey in a intence make-out session on the coach that was awkward but there parents where OK with them being together after hearing there story. Any way the McDonald venturis' where sitting around the Christmas tree opening presents the last present to open was Casey's from Derek it was a big box "here case this ones for you" Derek said nervously Casey grabbed it gentle from his hands and started to open it the rest of the family where curious of what it is since Derek wouldnt tell anyone. Casey opened the box and inside was a bunch of tissue paper a smaller carbord box and laying on top was a coupon for a trip to caseys favourite hair salon "thanks Derek" she then gave him a hug "wait there's more open the next box" Derek said, Casey did and inside the next box was also filled with tissue paper and had a smaller box inside but this Time on top was a beautiful diamond bracelet and a note that said 'some thing new' Casey was slightly confused of what that ment but put on the braclet then huged Derek again and gave him a kiss on the cheek "thank you derek I love it" "well open up the last box there's one more thing" Derek said nervous "what you shouldn't have I don't need more" "please just open it" she did and inside was a beautiful ring that matched the bracelet in a open ring box and a note saying 'will you marry me love Derek' Casey was speechless her hand on her mouth with tears of joy running down her cheeks all she could do was nod then she said "yes yes Derek I will marry you a hindered times yes" she then leanded over and gave him a a long loving kiss "I love you" Derek whispered after they broke apart "I love you too" Casey whispered back then stood up Derek grabbed the ring then on one knee slid it onto Casey's ring finger he then stood up and gave Casey another kiss as the McDonald-venturis' cheered and congratulationed them by on the engagement
