Author Note: I decided to change my second one take Monday into a crossover with NCISLA and Hawaii five 0. Short sequel to "Steak Dinner".
Steve was waiting for his friend to get here. They were having Billy's funeral and Sam decided that he wanted to be there for it. He was surprised to see Steve with Catherine but he was happy for them. Sam finally arrived at the gate and gave Steve a hug.
"Hey man, how was your flight?" Steve asked Sam.
"It's okay. What time is Billy's funeral?" Sam asked his friend.
"Later on today." Steve said to him.
"So what are we going to do before then?" He asked his friend.
"Anything that you want." Steve revealed to him.
"So how's Kono?" Sam asked his friend.
"I don't know. I haven't seen her for months." He revealed to him as he earn a surprising look.
"Doesn't she still work for you?" He asked him.
"Yes she does. She went with her boyfriend to protect him after he killed his brother to protect her. I didn't want her to go." Steve revealed as they walked into the headquarters. Sam and Steve were greeted by the rest of the team and Catherine. Sam gave her a small hug to let her know that he was there for her.
After the funeral, it was time for Sam to head back to los Angeles but he decided to take time to talk to Catherine about celebrating Billy's life. She seem to really understand why he was trying to talk to her and helping her.
Author Note: I hope that you like this short fanfic for Steve and Sam. I didn't understand how they didn't bring Sam in for the funeral. I don't understand why they didn't bring him.
