Don't Forget
A/N: Sigh. Listen to "Don't Forget" by Demi Lovato.
~I'm just a line breaker, don't mind me...~
Annabeth was in her car, driving from camp to Sally Jackson's. She and Sally had gotten a lot closer over the past few months, with Percy missing, and all.
She was just driving down the freeway, when that song came on the radio.
Did you forget that I was even alive?
Did you forget everything we ever had?
Did you forget, did you forget, about me?
Annabeth found herself pulling onto the side of the road, eyes wide, knuckles white against the steering wheel.
A single tear fell down her cheek, and she quickly wiped it away. She would not cry.
Did you regret, ever standing by my side?
Did you forget what we were feeling inside
Now I'm left,
To forget, about us
Annabeth didn't listen to the rest of the song, because tears were streaming down her face, and soon, she was sobbing.
She didn't notice the middle aged man, pull over behind her, and walk out of his car.

Driving down the road, on my way home from work, I noticed a car pulled over on the side of the road. I pulled down behind it, and stepped out.
What happened?
There wasn't any body damage to the car, so I assumed it wasn't a wreck.
I walked around to the driver's side and knocked on the window.
Looking inside I saw a young girl, with her head on the steering wheel, tears streaming down her face.
I knocked again, and the blonde looked up, eyes red and puffy.
She rolled down the window, sniffling.
"I'm sorry," I told her, "I just noticed you pulled over, is there anything I can help with?"
She shook her head, "No, I'm fine."
I raised an eyebrow, "You don't seem fine, honey."
More tears ran down her face, "It's nothing you can help with."
"Do you want to tell me what's wrong?"
"My boyfriend... He's missing... And we just found out that he might have amnesia. I was driving towards the city to go visit his mom."
I sighed, "Do you want me to drive you?"
She looked like she couldn't decide. I understood. She did't know me.
I continued, "I just don't think you should be driving like this."
After a couple of minutes she excepted my offer, and I got into her car, telling myself that I'd take the subway home, then get my car the next day.
I struck up small talk, "So, what's your name?"
"Annabeth. And you?"
"Seth. Where does your boyfriend's mom live?"
She gave me the address of "Sally Jackson," and I drove her to the Upper East side.
We approached the building, and she ran over to a woman who was sitting on a bench outside the building.
The woman hugged her, and kissed the top of Annabeth's head.
I got out of her car, and Sally walked over to me,
"Thank you."
I smiled, "Not a problem. She was on the side of the road, and I felt bad leaving her."
She nodded, "Annabeth's a strong girl. She's taken Percy's disappearance the worst."
"How long have they been dating?"
She smiled sadly, "They were dating for six months. But they've been best friends for over four years."
After bidding goodbye to Sally and Annabeth, I hopped onto the subway, hoping they'd have a happy ending.
A/N: Sorry. Recently I've been obsessed with Annabeth's reaction to Percy's going missing.
