Puck pulled into the Hummel/Hudson drive-way sighing with relief when he didn't see Mr. Hummel's truck. Hopefully he's at work, he thought. Now that Puck and Finn were getting along better he started hanging out with Finn more often and since Finn lived in a cooler house now it was usually at his place. This posed a problem because as fond as Burt Hummel was of Finn he still took his son's side when it came to hating Puck. Last time he was over for the second consecutive day Burt told him that he should get a job and quit playing video games and eating all the food in their fridge. I do have a job! But you can't clean pools during late autumn. And Finn eats way more than me. As he silently raged inside he knocked on the door and was greeted warmly by Mrs. Hudson.
"Hello there, Noah" she said. "Finn's downstairs and I was just about to order pizza."
"Cool, thanks Mrs. Hummel." Puck replied using his best manners.
As he reached the final stair he found Finn already engrossed in his video games. He handed Puck a console without removing his eyes from the screen. Puck enjoyed their simple friendship.
About an hour and a pizza and a half later Finn and Puck were still in front of the TV. They heard someone descend the stairs so Finn paused there game. In walked Kurt, wearing a bright knee-length sweater and shoes that couldn't possibly have been made for a male.
What the fuck? But before Puck could fully even register what ridiculous outfit Kurt was wearing today Kurt spotted the two boys, turned on his heel and stomped up the stairs to the kitchen.
"What's up his ass?" Puck asked, chuckling at the irony.
"I think he's just uncomfortable around you." Finn replied not understanding why Puck was laughing. "I'll go talk to him."
As Finn headed up the stairs the other boy rolled his eyes just thinking that Kurt was being a drama queen like always. He quickly got bored of the quiet room and followed Finn to see what Kurt's deal was. He stopped outside the door listening to the two boys argue.
"This is the third time this week, Finn!" Kurt exclaimed with a hushed tone.
"It's my house now too, you know, I can have my friends over if I want." Finn shot back.
"Okay fine! Have as many friends as you want come over, just not him!"
"Puck has barely said anything to you since he started coming over here."
"Last time he was over he told me I had fairy curtains and accidently shoved me off of the kitchen stool."
"You're just being a little over-sensitive."
"OVER-SENSITIVE!" Kurt's voice began to rise. "You don't get it Finn. I get made fun of and thrown into a dumpster everyday by that asshole and then I have to come back to my home and deal with it too. I can't take it!" Then the fashionably dressed boy stormed out of the house, got into his car and drove away.
If Puck wasn't such a badass he might actually feel bad for Kurt. But he didn't. That little bitch wont make me feel guilty. I don't care how adorable he is when he's angry…wait WHAT? What's wrong with me?
Shaking himself out of his odd, unwanted thoughts he walked into the kitchen as if he hadn't heard Finn and Kurt's argument and headed towards the fridge. He pulled out a soda and drank almost all of it before saying "Everything okay dude?"
"Yeah." Fine replied "Kurt's just being moody."
"Probably his time of the month" Puck joked, but this time his laugh was kind of fake.
Maybe I should be a little more considerate of Kurt's feelings. This is his house… nah that little queen should learn to deal with me being around. He's not gonna push me around.
With that thought he and Finn headed back down to Kurt's room to finish their game. They used Kurt's TV and spilled Pepsi on Kurt's rug but didn't give an ounce of respect to how Kurt was feeling.
