Mahad slowed down. He finally lost her. Or so he thought.
Suddenly he felt a heavy weight jumping on his back, and he fell on the ground.
'Gotcha now!'
He struggled to get free from the grasp, but she didn't let go.
Dahlia and Mahad rolled over the ground, struggling. They finally came to a stop near the edge of Puerto angel. He had somehow managed to roll on top of her, and now he held her body down with his weight. Both of them were breathing heavily. Their faces were only inches away from each other. Sweat dripped of their faces, and a little pearl of sweat fell off Mahad's face and dripped onto her lips.
Then Dahlia pushed him of her and got up into a sitting position. He sat up too.
For a while they just sat there, saying nothing, listening to the sounds of nature. And their own heartbeats.
Mahad was the first to speak.
'Dahlia?'
She turned her face at him. 'Yes?'
'What happened on that iceberg, I mean, what almost happened…'
He couldn't find the words. She held her head at a slight angle and looked at him.
'What I mean is…I really know that I'm a stupid, annoying little kid, a pain, but…Every time you're near me…When I know you're near…It seems like…Like my brains don't want to function normally anymore…And it makes me do crazy things…And I don't understand it. I never had such a feeling before…But with you…'
She placed a hand on his cheek. She felt him shiver a bit. She closed her eyes as she leaned toward him and their lips met.
This was even more confusing for Mahad, but he liked it. Dahlia knew how confused he was, and she kissed him gently, just so he knew that he could pull back if it was too confusing.
But he didn't. He didn't kiss her back either. He was probably a bit too stunned.
They drew apart slowly, and she opened her eyes again. At some point he must've closed his eyes too, for she saw him opening them.
'Have I just dreamed that?' he asked her. She smiled.
'If you did, I must admit you dream damn good.' she said, while she let her hand slide down his neck, over his arm and took his hand.
'How do you feel?' she asked. 'You looked a bit confused.'
'I feel…Really weird and tingly…in places…'
She smiled.
'That is called "real love", Mahad.' she softly said, before kissing him again. This time he let go of himself and kissed her back. This kiss wasn't as doubtful. No, it was more passionate. But they both enjoyed it. When they drew apart again, they were out of breath.
'God…' was all she managed to say.
'I can shout of the rooftops how much I love you.' he said softly.
'Better not. If we keep our relationship a secret, it'll be more…exciting.' she whispered, while she let one of her hands slide from his knee, over his upper leg to his groin area.
Maybe it's best to leave these two lovers alone, but I can tell you they went a lot further then simply kissing and tongue kissing.
The end
