"Mark Cohen, you be a good boy, you hear me?" Mrs. Cohen asked.
"Yes Mommy, can I go play now?"
"Yes dear, have a good day."
"Bye Mommy." A little 5 year old Mark wandered over to a coloring table in his new kindergarten classroom. He wore a pair of little glasses over his pale blue eyes, and a red baseball cap over his blonde head. He picked up a piece of paper and a blue crayon, and sat down next to another blonde boy. His hair was darker, and he had green eyes and wore a football jersey, unlike Mark's polo.
"Hey I want your hat!" The other boy said pulling the cap off of Mark's head.
"No it's mine!" Mark cried as the boy ran the other way. Mark finally caught the boys shirt by the open windows he pulled him and grabbed onto the other side of the hat. "MINE!" Mark yelled.
"Not for long sucker!" The other boy replied as they pulled back and forth. Finally the hat flew out of both of their hands and out the window, landing on the grass 2 stories below them.
"Uh-oh." Mark said.
"Hey, who cares? It was a dumb hat we won't tell anyone." The other boy said.
"My Mom's gonna ask what happened."
"So lie. Tell her you lost it. I'm Roger."
"I'm Mark."
"Look at that nitwit trying to build that train track, he's doing it all wrong! Let's go show him how real men do it." Roger said leading Mark in a march across the classroom towards the train set.
