Gallagher girls 5

"UGH! Ouch. Good one, Zach." I was lying on the floor in P&E where Zach had just taken me down. Nice Cammie. You let a boy throw you onto the floor . A really cute boy at that.

My name is Cameron Ann Morgan, and I'm no ordinary girl. I'm a Gallagher girl. I go to Gallagher Academy, a school for spies.

I met Zach Goode a few years ago when his school, Blackthorne, a spy school for guys, had an exchange with my school. We had gone into the city for a cov-op's mission and Zach had beat me. Then his school came to my school and I fell in lo-.

Oh my gosh, I did not just almost say that. No way. I am not in love with Zach Goode. At least, I hope not.

I turned my head to look up at Zach and he had his usual smirk on his face. "Come on, Gallagher girl. Let's go again." He held his hand out to me and I took it. His hand was rough from years of training, and he had a firm grip on my hand as he jerked me off the floor. Taking me off guard, I flew into his arms too shocked and surprised to stop myself.

Zach froze. I knew he was surprised too. He hadn't expected me to not stop myself. Well, what did he want me to do? I was only one girl, and a worn out girl at that.

He wrapped his arms around me, and being the wonderful Gallagher girl I am, I brought my knee up, hoping to hit my target. Zach jerked away and smirked at me. That "I know something you don't know" smirk. Gosh, he was just begging to get his butt whooped.

Laughing, I aimed to punch his face, hoping to take him by surprise. And boy, did I ever. Zach jerked back and looked shocked I actually got him. I was too.

"Nice one, Gallagher girl." Lunging forward Zach tried to do a roundhouse kick, but I caught his leg and held on. Jumping up, Zach did a back flip, using me as a backboard. I flew back and landed on the mat with a dull thud.

In seconds Zach was jumping on top of me, trying to pin me down. I wriggled free of his grasp and kept rolling on the mat. As fast as a cheetah, I stood up and tackled him. We both went down onto the floor, Zach on the bottom, hitting his head on the floor. I felt bad, that would probably leave a bruise on his pretty head.

Breathing heavily, I put my knees on Zach's legs and held his shoulders down with my hands, using my body weight to keep him down.

Zach and I locked eyes, and I could see he was proud of me, but also embarrassed at getting beat in front of his friends. Now were even.

Smiling, my Aunt Abby, who was filling in as our P&E teacher for Mr. Solomon walked over. She was marking stuff on her clipboard, and somehow she made the movement look graceful. My Aunt was one of the top spies in the world, and wasn't afraid of anything.

"Nice job, you two. Go sit over on the bleachers and take a break for a while. You distract me from watching the other kids, always having to worry you would accidentally hurt each other." she said and walked away.

Zach was smirking his usual smirk at me. I realized I was still on top of him and quickly rolled off. I laid on my back and felt the mat beneath me move as Zach got up. I looked up at him, and he held out his hand to help me up.

I raised my eyebrows at him. "You're being nice!" I said, honestly shocked. "I'm ALWAYS nice" he shot back at me. I took his hand and he gently pulled me up. When I was up the world started spinning, and Zach reached out and grasped my arm.

"You okay, Gallagher girl?" Zach asked, I tried to look at him, and all I saw was the room spinning "Cammie!" Zach said. The walls started coming toward me and the ground looked a lot closer than it had before. Zach's strong arms went around me as he held me up.

Everything started to go black, and the last thing I heard was Zach yelling for help, and people running over to me.
