Actually this is my first time posting a story on I was scared to show anyone my little scribbles, but then I realized that I could post them on the internet without anyone knowing it was ME that wrote them. So I decided, what the heck, I might as well see what people think about them.

Disclaimer: Do I look like I own Gundam Wing?

A gunshot blared through the silence.

Blood splattered on the white wall.

A limp body fell to the floor...

...while the other ran towards it. Loosening his grip on the pistol, it fell to the floor. A cloud shadowed the moonlight, sending the small room into darkness.

"W-what did I do?!" He screamed, dropping to his knees and cradling the bloody mess of a skull. Blonde hair spread across his thighs as he rocked back and forth, sobbing relentlessly. Crimson seeped through his pants and everything was silent if not for his cries. "I didn't want to, I'm sorry! Please forgive me," he turned her head towards him. Her eyes were still open; the blue depths held no life. "Forgive me!".

28 Weeks Later...

"OK, Mr. Maxwell, according to your file, you passed your written exam last week. Barely." In a busy office room stood a line of young men waiting to take their visual exams. The whole office was bustling with activity.

"What?! I was sick. My head was spinning and I couldn't read the questions properly!" Violet eyes widened with each word.

"Really. It doesn't matter though, you passed. Even if you're at the bottom of your class, you still qualify to take the Optical exam. Step forward onto the red tile." The nurse hung up a chart with letters decreasing in size as you followed them down the laminated paper.

"Okie, so which line do I read?"

"Seventh line," she replied without looking up.

"Um...f, e, l, o, p, z and d, " The boy replied with ease.

The nurse laughed. "Don't feel so high and mighty. Any idiot could read those."

"Yeah? So gimme another one." He flicked his chestnut braid over his shoulder waiting to read another line, probably backwards.

"Line eleven, first time from left to right and a second time right to left."

"You sure 'bout that? You could write a smaller set of 'em down, you know." He smirked.

"Just read the damned thing, Duo."

"Okay okay. Don't need to be so pissy..." he grumbled under his breath. He read aloud all the characters without any pause, a smug grin plastered across his face.

"So you passed, big deal. Now get outta here," she threw his stamped file at him.

"Aw Sally, you didn't expect me to pass?" the braided boy asked with a mock pout, receiving nothing but a shove from the nurse.

"There are people in line waiting to get their testing, while you waste my time here." She said to him sternly.

"Fine! You'll never see me here again!" He stomped off in the way only vexed little girls do.

"Duo!" she called to his back as he entered the elevator. He turned around to press the floor number on the wall. "I was just kidding about you barely passing. You were the first in your class."

"I knew it!" was the only thing he managed to say with a laugh before the doors closed in.

The elevator music started kicking in a 70s tune and Duo Maxwell started tapping his foot to the beat, wondering what would be awaiting him at the 67th floor.

Can I continue?
