Note: I do not own any of the characters used in this Fanfiction or anything to do with SVU.
She lay on the cold pavement, her once light hair matted and stained with blood, clothes torn from the struggle and the life fading from her pale green eyes.
Carla Douglas is your average 16 year old girl, computers, boys and parties. She's also a keen gymnast competing at national levels, this was all until her murder.
Mean while in the squad room:
"Elliot I don't know why you are so wound up about this, He said it's nothing personal, he knows he shouldn't have stood me up. But its okay, I'm okay."
"Liv!" Elliot hissed careful for no one else to here. "It's not okay! How can you defend him like that He left you there for an hour, no man does that, it's wrong. Especially in that part of town, Anything could have happened."
"But it didn't and I'm okay, and anyway I know how to look after myself Elliot I'm fairly capable of at least that! And I can defend him Elliot because… " Olivia was clearly getting agitated and worked up, enough for the captain to take note of, but working on their best interests he decided to let them work this one out themselves. Cragen then left to pick up his stream of never ending phone calls.
"Because what Liv?…" Elliot was sounding a little more empathetic, his voice hushed into a whisper rather than a hiss. "Because…" Olivia's words where faltering "Because… it's nothing to do with you." There was complete silence between the two characters, them both just standing there Elliot with his muscly arms tightly folded and Olivia with her hand resting gently on her waist. Moments passed until Cragen stormed back into the squad room from his office. "Captain what's up?" Fin asked and stood up as Cragen passed his untidy desk.
"We have a case, and you're none of you are leaving till this is solved. "
